Sister Margaret Foundation interventions work to improve the access to quality healthcare services for the poor and marginalised communities. By identifying the root causes of healthcare challenges, we work at the individual, community, and systemic levels to develop innovative solutions and help implement quality healthcare services. The ambit of our work includes improving of maternal and reproductive health, child health and nutrition, and early identification and treatment of communicable diseases.
Even after decades of freedom, India is struggling to provide basic Health Care Services to its people. SMF has conducted several Mobile Health Care Camps in different parts of West Bengal (Kolkata, North 24 prgs, South 24 prgs, Birbhum, Purulia, Bakura, North bengal etc.) and other states like DELHI, MUMBAI, NAGPUR, PUNE, BANGALORE, MYSORE, VADODARA, AHMEDABAD, CHENNAI, DEOGHAR, BARAMULLA, J&K, ANDAMAN etc.)
Since inception of SMF in 2006 with Medicines, competent Doctors, several Medical diagnosis etc. SMF also started Clinic on Wheel in the rural and slums areas.
